The main focus of this magazine is The Dark Knight. The colours are very masculine and cool and neutral. The font is all capitals and clearly spaced out, it is bold and querky. The top half of the front cover is full of text of all different sizes and styles. The title of the magazine is the text which stands out most and the name of the feature film is also bold and eye-catching. Under the text is a tag line associated with the film, this is to draw the reader in "summer just got serious" this relates to the film as the joker is famously known for saying 'why so serious' in the batman films. The layout is very sophisticated and collected. The image is haunting and the main eye catching element of the magazine. From simply looking at the magazine the audience get to know two things; one that the magazine is about films, and two which film is the main focus. The cover is very effective and has some boxes and unique icons i.e. the blue cross in the bottom left corner.
